Created in 1988 on the French Atlantic coast, La Rochelle Business School is a member of the prestigious network of the French Grandes Ecoles.[3] It is a non-profit organisation linked to the La Rochelle Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI). Mr. Daniel Peyron is the Dean for the Group since 2001. The school has an enrollment of approximately 3,400 students [2] and is still growing through each of its programs with French and international students.

La Rochelle Business School is a permanent member of the Business Schools’ Conference (Conférence des Grandes Ecole) since 2005, it possesses ISO 9001 certification.[4] In June 2013, the Business School was officially granted for the prestigious AACSB Accreditation,[5] reaching the top level of the 5% leading business schools of the world.

La Rochelle Business School has also been awarded with TedQual accreditation, delivered by the World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO), for all its programs in Tourism Management. It is the first and only school in France to obtain TedQual accreditation for both Bachelor and MBA programs.

La Rochelle Business School has partnerships or arrangements with more than 170 Universities around the world. The school obligates all students to be volunteers and participate in humanitarian or citizen action along with their studies.

Programs

MASTER PROGRAM
  • ESC Master in Management : The most prestigious of its programs with a master's degree, each student spends 6 to 12 intensive months in another university of the world to maximise his/her study contents.
BACHELOR PROGRAMS
  • Bachelor in International Business: 4-year program after French Baccalaureate or International Baccalaureate, including 2 years of studies abroad with possibility of double degrees (English and French tracks are available).
  • Bachelor Business : 3-year general business program after French Baccalaureate or International Baccalaureate, giving access to a various list of positions in French or foreign companies (taught in French, no English track).
  • Bachelor in Management of Tourism : 3-year specialised program in tourism after French Baccalaureate or International Baccalaureate, very popular for lots of major tourism companies (English and French tracks are available).

Recruiting

The institution started recruiting abroad and worldwide since 2008. This allows a more varied mixture of cultures and experiences within each class. The School currently counts 600 international students coming from more than 30 different countries.

Students network

Concerning the former students network, more than 12,000 professionals are currently working within 70 countries around the world. Beyond its pedagogic activities at La Rochelle Campus, La Rochelle Business School currently tries to increase its international recognition and presence out of the European Union.
