During the 1983–84 English football season, Queens Park Rangers F.C. competed in the Football League First Division.

Season summary

QPR enjoyed a solid season upon their return to the First Division, finishing fifth and thus qualifying for the UEFA Cup. At the end of the season, manager Terry Venables left to manage Spanish giant Barcelona; he was replaced by Crystal Palace manager Alan Mullery.

Kit

QPR's kits were manufactured by German apparel manufacturer Adidas, who introduced a new kit for the season.[1] The kits also bore sponsorship for the first time, with Rangers receiving sponsorship from Irish brewery Guinness.
