4 Ursae Minoris is a spectroscopic binary[2] star in the constellation Ursa Minor. Its apparent magnitude is 4.81. Located approximately 140 parsecs (460 ly) distant, the primary is a red giant of spectral type K3III,[1] a star that has used up its core hydrogen and is expanding.
