ACH Saline Plastics Plant is located on Michigan Avenue in the City of Saline, Michigan. First opened in 1966,[1] the property covers approximately 1,600,000 square feet (150,000 m2) and is currently operated by Automotive Components Holdings LLC.[2] ACH is managed by the Ford Motor Company, which is marketing the remaining ACH supply plants (including Saline Plastics) that previously belonged to the Visteon Corporation.[3]

Operations

Plastic molding and injection press is processed in the manufacturing of automotive doors, center consoles and instrument panels of Ford Motor Company vehicles. Manufactured parts built in Saline are then shipped to various Ford final assembly plants.

Personnel

The Saline Plant employs around 1900 people.[4]

Union

UAW Local 892 represents workers at Saline.

Current status

ACH has begun investing more than $80 million in the Saline Plant for re-tooling and property renovation projects to attract potential buyers.
