The Abkhaz people in Turkey refers to citizens and denizens of Turkey who are, or descend from, ethnic Abkhaz people who originate in Abkhazia.
Numbers
In the census of 1965, 4,563 Turkish citizens spoke Abkhaz as mother language; 280 of these spoke only Abkhaz. Another 7,556 spoke as second best language.
