Acacia applanata is a grasslike shrub belonging to the genus Acacia. It is native to the south west of Western Australia.[1]

The shrub is erect or sometimes sprawling and typically grows to a height of 0.5 to 1.0 metre (2 to 3 ft). It produces yellow flowers between July and October and favours sand, loam or lateritic soils.
