Adnoartina is known as the lizard guard of Uluru, or Ayers Rock. The aboriginal peoples of Australia living around Uluru tell numerous legends about Adnoartina and other lizards that emerge from the rock.
It may be related to the prehistoric Megalania which lived in Australia with the earliest indigenous Australians.
