Alireza Soleimani Karbalaei (Persian: علیرضا سلیمانی کربلایی‎‎, 2 February 1956 – 21 May 2014) was an Iranian super heavyweight freestyle wrestler. He was the first and, to date, the only Iranian to win the gold medal in the Superheavy Weight of Freestyle Wrestling, which he won at the World Championship 1989 against Bruce Baumgartner. He was the flag bearer of the Iranian Olympic Team at the 1992 Summer Olympic Games.

Pahlevan Soleimani was born in Tehran. In addition to freestyle wrestling, he was a champion in varzesh-e bastani and had won the Pahlevan of Iran title and armband in Pahlevani traditional wrestling six times.

Alireza Soleimani died on 21 May 2014 due to heart failure. He was 58.
