American Folk Songs is a 1950 album by Jo Stafford. The album features twelve popular folk songs.[2][3] The album was not done in a traditional manner; Stafford was backed by Paul Weston's orchestra for all the cuts. The Saturday Review records review column described the album as "of its own excellence.[4]

Judy Collins has cited the album as one of the first to spark her interest in folk music.[5]
