Amnon Netzer (Persian: امنون نتصر; November 1934 – February 15, 2008) was an Iranian-Jewish historian, researcher, professor and journalist.[1][2] He dedicated much of his life to uncovering, analyzing, and recording the literature, culture, and 2,700-year history of Iran's Jewry.
He founded Israel Broadcasting Authority's Persian Service in 1958 and was a professor at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem until his death in 2008.[3]
