Andreolepis is an extinct genus of the order Actinopterygii, placed in the monogeneric family Andreolepididae.[1]

The known species of this genus are A. hedei and A. petri. A. hedei has proven so far to be the earliest-known actinopterygiian, living around 420 million years ago. Both species inhabited Russia, and A. hedei fossils have also been uncovered in Sweden, Estonia, and Latvia.[2]
