Ashcombe is a village and civil parish in the Teignbridge district of Devon, England, about six miles north of Teignmouth. The parish had a population of 77 according to the 2001 census. The village lies on the south-eastern side of the Haldon hills in the valley of the stream known as Dawlish Water.

The church of St. Nectan in Ashcombe

The church, dedicated to Saint Nectan, has 13th-century lancet windows[1] and a 14th-century chancel arch. The oak seats were carved in the 16th century.

The village was recorded in Domesday Book.[2]
