Bāb Al Saghīr Cemetery

Bāb Saghīr (Arabic: باب الصغير‎‎), also called "Goristan-e-Ghariban", is an ancient cemetery and street in Damascus, Syria, with tombs on either side of the road. It is located in the Dimashq neighborhood, southwest of Umayyad Mosque.

• Abdullah, son of the Fourth Imām, Ali Zaynul 'Aabideen
• Maymuunah, daughter of the Second Imām, Hasan al-Mujtaba
• Asma, wife of Ja'far at-Tayyaar
• Hameedah, daughter of Muslim ibn Aqeel
• Kamaid bin Aswad al-Kindi, companion of Ali
• Obay ibn Ka'b, husband of Halima, wet nurse of Muhammad

Cenotaphs

The following tombs are also found within this cemetery, however these are empty graves created for the purpose of ziyarah. The actual graves are at Jannatul Baqee', in Madinah, Saudi Arabia.

• Fatima Sughra, daughter of Husayn ibn Ali

Other features

• Maqam Ra's Shuhada, the former burial place of the heads of the casualties in Husayn's army at Karbala (also called "ganj-e-sarha-e-shuhada-e-Karbala")
• The well from which the Fourth Shī`a Imām, Ali Zaynul 'Aabideen used to perform wudhu
