Baisla is a Gurjar clan. They are also known as Bainsle, Baisla, Besle, Bansla, Bainsla and Baisle.

Etymology

Baislas claim descent from an 8th century Gurjara-Pratihara ruler Vishal Dev Chauhan, who was also known as Bissal Dev or Bisaldev. According to this theory, his descendants were called Baisle or Bainsla.[1][unreliable source?]

Population
