Bishop John Carroll is a bronze statue by Jerome Connor commemorating John Carroll, the founder of Georgetown University.[1] It is located on Georgetown's campus in Georgetown in Northwest Washington, D.C., between Healy Hall and the university's front gate at the intersection of O Street Northwest, and 37th Street Northwest.

The statue was unveiled on 4 May 1912.[2]

One tradition that has arisen is for Georgetown students to sit in the lap of Bishop John Carroll.[3][4]
