Brazil–Malaysia relations are foreign relations between Brazil and Malaysia. Brazil has an embassy in Kuala Lumpur,[1] and Malaysia has an embassy in Brasilia.[2]
Economic relations
Both countries are working closer on the economic sector with many Brazilian brand and companies eyes Malaysian market.[3][4] In 2012, a Brazilian companies has started a total of U$6 billion investments in Malaysia.[5][6][7] Brazil mining company Vale also has started construction of an iron ore transfer centre in Malaysia.[8] Beside that, Brazil also one of the biggest arms seller and one of the exporter of sugar and beef to Malaysia.[9][10][11] While in Brazil, Malaysian oil company Petronas has sign deal with OGX.[12] Both countries also in the process in join ventures to develop biofuel and Malaysia is currently seeks to help Brazil in broadband plan expanding.[13][14]
