The Ministry of the Environment (Portuguese: Ministério do Meio Ambiente, abbreviated MMA) is a cabinet-level federal ministry in Brazil. Izabella Teixeira, a career employee of IBAMA, has served as the Minister of the Environment since her appointment in May 2010.[2]
