Bryn Amlwg Castle (Welsh: Castell Bryn Amlwg) is in Shropshire near the Welsh border and the hamlet of Anchor which lies between Newtown and Clun.
This was an enclosure castle of the 12th and 13th centuries, and had towers and a gatehouse. Only earthworks now remain.
The tri-point of Shropshire, Montgomeryshire and Radnorshire is very close-by, located at the confluence of the Nant Rhydyfedw and the Nant Rhuddwr. The most westerly point of Shropshire and the English-Welsh border is also close-by.
