Burkinabé Americans are Americans of Burkinabé descent. The cities with the most significant population are: New York City and Washington, D.C.,[1] and there is also a community in Texas. Burkinabé Americans speak several African languages, being the most spoken the Moore, Dioula, Gurma, and Senufo, they also speak French (as second language) and English. In 2009 it was estimated that 5,000-6000 Burkinabé immigrants live in United States. However, many Burkinabeses live of illegal way in United States.[1]

The main areas of Burkinabé concentration organize cultural activities in order to establish helps to the Burkinabe who have difficulties in administration and integration into American society.[1]
