CSB (Chronus Satellite Broadcast)[1] News is Bangladesh's first 24-hour news & current affairs channel. Mediaguru has consulted for the complete planning and implementation for the new channel which has been launched by a leading corporate house of Bangladesh. The channel is a part of the Focus Multimedia Company.
CSB News started broadcasting test transmissions from March 24, 2007 and started commercially broadcasting from April 9, 2007. The channel transmits from the Telstar 10 satellite located at 76.5°E on the 4041 MHz frequency.

Closure
On August 23, 2007 the Ministry of Information of Bangladesh had asked the Ekushey Television (ETV) and Focus Multimedia Company Limited (CSB) to refrain from telecasting any provocative news, documentaries, talk shows and discussions against the government.[2] On Thursday, September 6, 2007, the Bangladesh Telecom Regulatory Commission officially shut down transmission of the channel.
