Camilo Minero was born in Zacatecoluca, El Salvador in 1917. He was a pupil of Marcelino Carballo and student at the National School of Graphical Arts. In Mexico he studied in the National Polytechnical Institute and the Factory of Popular Graph. One of the murals of the building of the Rectoría of the National University of El Salvador was painted by him and recorded his they are in the New York Museum of Modern Art.
