Carol Sanders

Carol L. Sanders (1932– August 27, 2012)[1][2] was an American bridge player from Nashville, Tennessee.[3] She was married to Thomas K. Sanders, also a bridge player. She won four world championships, all in partnership with Betty Ann Kennedy of Louisiana.[2]

Sanders and Kennedy were known as the Belles[2] or Southern Belles. They compiled 10 NABC wins and 8 runners-up together.[2]

Both Carol and Tom Sanders were inducted into the ACBL Hall of Fame in 2002.[4]
