Catalina Artusi (Spanish pronunciation: [kataˈlina arˈtusi]; born May 24, 1990) is an Argentine actress who is perhaps best known for her participation in the Telefé telenovela Chiquititas.

Career information

Artusi's first acting experience came as "Catalina" in Verano del '98 (Summer of '98), in 1998. In Verano del '98 she participated alongside a number of other Chiquititas stars, including Agustina Cherri. The then nine-year-old actress gained a role in popular soap Chiquititas ("Tiny Angels"), during the show's fourth season in 1998.

After leaving Chiquititas, Artusi participated in 2000's Luna salvaje (Savage Moon), after which she took a four year hiatus from screen acting. She kept busy by acting in plays.

Artusi returned to Argentine television in 2004, when she acted alongside Gianella Neyra, among others, in Culpable de este amor (Laura's Secret). Artusi's character had a romantic relationship with the character played by the also young actor Dario Lopilato, brother of Luisana Lopilato, also of Chiquititas fame.

Artusi's first starring role in a telenovela came in Sos mi vida.
