Christopher Breen was a writer and editor whose professional career had been spent covering Apple Inc.'s Apple Macintosh computers and related technologies for such publications as MacUser, MacWeek, and Macworld.[citation needed] In addition to his technology career, Breen is also a musician who has performed professionally for two decades.[citation needed] He was a senior editor at Mac Publishing, a division of International Data Group which publishes the US edition of Macworld.[citation needed] His "Mac 911" column appeared monthly in that magazine and online. He also hosted the Macworld Podcast with Susie Ochs (previously Serenity Caldwell) until February 2015.[citation needed].
Before working at Macworld, Breen was contributing editor and Help Desk columnist for the US edition of MacUser magazine.[citation needed]
Breen is the author of several books, including Secrets of the iPod, The iPod and iTunes Pocket Guide, Mac 911, and My iMac. He has created a variety of video training courses for Lynda.com, including Mac OS X Leopard Essential Training, Screencasting for the Mac, iPad Tips and Tricks, and Lion Essential Training.
In February 2015 he resigned from Macworld to take an undisclosed job at Apple.[1]
Personal life
Breen lives in Northern California with his wife and daughter.[citation needed]
