Christopher Bruce "Chris" Cahill (born 25 December 1984) is a Samoan footballer who plays as a midfielder for St. George Saints in the NSW Winter Super League and other Soccer NSW competitions.

Club career

Cahill was born on 25 December 1984 in Sydney, Australia to an English father of Irish descent and a Samoan mother. Cahill played four games for Dulwich Hill FC in 2004.[1] He then moved to Australian club St. George Saints, where he has played since 2006.

International career

He played for Samoa national team was national captain.[2] He played in the 2010 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers, scoring goals against American Samoa and Tonga.[citation needed] He didn't appear at the 2012 OFC Nations Cup which was Samoa's first appearance at a major tournament.

Personal life

He is the brother of Australian international Tim Cahill, who currently plays for Shanghai Shenhua, and cousin of Ben Roberts (New Zealand Kiwis), Joe Stanley (New Zealand All Blacks), and Jeremy Stanley (New Zealand All Blacks).[2]
