It was the first production that came out of her English teacher's idea to start a drama club in middle school. She was in 8th grade. However, before that, her sisters and her spent countless summers making theatre, dance, and music in a big red barn in Nova Scotia that was a part of her grandparent's property. "We took it very seriously. We all claim it as some of our finest work, and, in seriousness, the start of our lives as artists and art advocates," she explains. Christina's first job on screen was a short film a college friend made on 35mm film, and she played a ventriloquist doll. Her first television job was As the World Turns as a college buddy of one of the regulars, Billy Magnussen; the character's name was Ari.
