Christl A. Donnelly FRS[2] is a Professor of Statistical Epidemiology at Imperial College London.[4]
Education
Donnelly was educated at Oberlin College, where she was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree, and at Harvard School of Public Health where in 1992 she was awarded Master of Science and Doctor of Science degrees.[1]
Research
Donnelly's research investigates statistical and biomathematical methods to analyse epidemiological patterns of infectious diseases such as Influenza A virus subtype H1N1[5] and Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS).,[6] Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS), Ebola virus disease and zoonoses. She has interests in ecology, conservation and animal welfare.[4]
Awards and honours
Donnelly was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society (FRS) in 2016[2] and the Academy of Medical Sciences in 2015.[3]
