Claudius Miller Easley (July 11, 1891 – June 19, 1945) was a United States Army brigadier general who was killed at the Battle of Okinawa.

Early life

Easley was raised in Waco, Texas and graduated from Waco High School in 1911. On July 11, 1912, Easley was commissioned a Second Lieutenant at Camp Perry, Ohio. He attended the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas from 1912 to 1916, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering. On April 21, 1946, Easley was posthumously awarded a Doctorate of Laws by AMC.

Family

Easley's son, Claudius Miller Easley, Jr. (1918–2006), was also in the U.S. Army, rising to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
