Coast FM was an un-licensed English language radio station based in Tenerife. At the end of February 2014 the station dropped its on air branding and then broadcast on air with no identity; it is believed[by whom?] that this was in preparation of the much anticipated transformation into an internationally branded radio station as part of the 'Virgin' brand.

The station was based in studios situated in Las Chafiras, south Tenerife and previously broadcast 24 hours a day with a live and voice tracked service, using commercial radio presenters based in Tenerife and in the UK.

Past presenters include: Matt Fletcher (Afternoons), Gordon Slayney, Jadene Littlejohn (Live Drive-time), Simon Rowe (Evenings) & Ryan Woodman (Breakfast). Local news was broadcast throughout the day along with Sky News at the top of the hour. The station broadcast the syndicated programme "The Airplay 40 Chart" with Spencer James on a Saturday evening.

As of July 2014, the station no longer broadcasts any signal. Previous frequencies included North Tenerife on 106.6fm, South and South East Tenerife on 106.6fm & 89.8fm via transmitters based on Guaza Mountain (S&SE) & Gorda Mountain (S&SW) and at La Corona (N). On Gran Canaria they broadcast on 103.5fm. A new transmitter in the South/South East had been commissioned using the frequency of 102.3fm which was to replace the existing 89.8 service.

In March 2013 Coast FM and sister station Energy FM were sold to new owners and both stations were set to be re-launched in March 2014 as 'Virgin'. This did not happen due to external influences. Both stations were closed down on Friday August 8th 2014 as external influences on the business caused the business to be no longer viable.
