A Competition Authority is the name given to a competition regulator in certain countries. It is a government agency, typically a statutory authority, sometimes called an economic regulator, which regulates and enforces competition laws, and may sometimes also enforce consumer protection laws. In addition to such agencies there is often another body responsible for formulating competition policy. The term competition authority used in a specific sense may refer to one of the following:
- Competition Authority (Ireland)
- Jersey Competition Regulatory Authority
- Netherlands Competition Authority
- Norwegian Competition Authority
