The Cork Independent is a free newspaper in Cork, Ireland. The paper is published weekly and contains local news, health and beauty, business, opinion, social events, entertainment, motoring and property as well as columns by local broadcasters PJ Coogan, Jonathan Healy and Finbarr McCarthy, food writer Tom Doorley and restaurateur and socialite Sandra Murphy.

The Cork Independent is published by the IFN Group, which also publishes the Galway Independent.

The newspaper has been published under the Cork Independent masthead since 2007 and used to be Inside Cork, owned by UTV. Its longest-serving contributor is racing columnist Eddie Goggin. The newspaper has also embraced new media with Corkindependent.com and a presence on Facebook and Twitter.
