Statistics

In 2010, 78,386 property crimes and 10,057 violent crimes, including 130 murders and 583 rapes, were reported in Connecticut.[1]

Capital punishment laws

In April 2012, Connecticut became the 17th state in the nation to abolish capital punishment.[2]
