Demian Serhiyovych Korotchenko (Ukrainian: Дем’ян Сергійович Коротченко; 29 November 1894 – 7 April 1969) was a Ukrainian and Soviet politician, who twice served as the head of government of Ukrainian SSR (today's equivalent of prime-minister).[1][2]

Biography

Demyan Korotchenko was born in a peasant family in a small village that today is in Sumska Oblast, eastern Ukraine.
