Dover Grammar School for Girls is a community grammar school for girls, aged between 11 and 18, and boys aged between 16 and 18, in Dover, England. The school has a range of subjects in the curriculum, as well as extra-curricular activities such as sports, art and drama clubs; the clubs run at lunchtimes and after-school.

History

It formed in 1904 as part of the Dover County School, and only later split into Boys' and Girls' Grammars in 1910 - DGGS still has close co-operation with the Boys' Grammar. The school's houses are Hubert de Burgh, St Martin, Queen Ethelburga, and Stephen de Pencester. The house names were chosen in a poll by the students in 1910 and have never changed.
