"Llámame" (1962) ►

"Estando contigo" (Spanish pronunciation: [esˈtando konˈtiɣo], "Being with You") was Spain's entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 1961, performed in Spanish by Conchita Bautista. This was Spain's first appearance at the Eurovision Song Contest, and the first occasion on which the Spanish language was used.

The song was performed first on the night, preceding Monaco's Colette Deréal with "Allons, allons les enfants". At the close of voting, it had received 8 points, placing 9th in a field of 16.

It was succeeded as Spanish entry at the 1962 Contest by Victor Balaguer with "Llámame". Conchita Bautista returned to the contest in 1965, singing "Qué bueno, qué bueno", again representing Spain.

Shortly after the contest, "Estando contigo" was popularly covered by Spanish child star Marisol in the film Ha llegado un ángel (1961).
