Eugen-Ludwig Zweigart (3 May 1914 – 8 June 1944) a former German Luftwaffe fighter ace and recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross (German: Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes) during World War II. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. He was credited with 69 victories.

Zweigart was shot down flying Focke Wulf Fw-190 A-8 (Werknummer 170 736—factory number) in aerial combat near Le Cambaux, France on 8 June 1944. He bailed out but was shot and killed while hanging in his parachute.[1]
