A representation of the Arkansas Traveler Tartan. The Arkansas Traveler Tartan was recognised as an official state tartan of Arkansas in 2001. The colours of this tartan represent the State as follows: green for the beautiful forests and trees of the Ozark Mountains where many of the Scottish immigrants settled; blue for Arkansas' beautiful lakes, rivers, and streams; yellow for the bright rays of sunshine during the spring and summer seasons; red for the blood of our strong family ties to Scotland and within the State of Arkansas.
