At 7:30 am, the peaceful "camp-in" protest at Liberty Square in <a href="//commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Yerevan" class="mw-redirect" title="Yerevan">Yerevan</a> was violently ended by Armenian special forces which used truncheons and electric shock devices to disperse the crowd of around 1,000.
