BV 222 "Wiking" - neues deutsches Großflugboot
Das neue deutsche Großraumflugboot der Blohm und Voss Werke BV 222 "Wiking", ist derzeit das größte Flugboot der deutschen Luftwaffe. Das zweistöckige Boot ist 37 Meter lang und 5,6 Meter hoch, die Spannweite der Tragflächen beträgt 46 Meter. Die sechs Motoren arbeiten mit einer Stärke von 7000 PS und geben ihm eine hohe Geschwindigkeit und große Reichweite. Starke Bewaffnung an Kanonen und Maschinengewehren gewährleisten ihre Sicherheit und Luftüberlegenheit bei feindlichen Luftangriffen.
