A small <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/coral" class="extiw" title="w:coral">coral</a> exhibit at the Steinhart Aquarium of the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/California_Academy_of_Sciences" class="extiw" title="w:California Academy of Sciences">California Academy of Sciences</a> in <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/San_Francisco" class="extiw" title="w:San Francisco">San Francisco</a>, California. A copperband butterflyfish (<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chelmon_rostratus" class="extiw" title="w:Chelmon rostratus">Chelmon rostratus</a>) is at left, and a <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/crypsis" class="extiw" title="w:crypsis">cryptic</a> yellowspotted scorpionfish (<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sebastapistes_cyanostigma" class="extiw" title="w:Sebastapistes cyanostigma">Sebastapistes cyanostigma</a>) just right of center. Staghorn coral (<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acropora" class="extiw" title="w:Acropora">Acropora</a> spp.) dominates the middle of the scene, while frogspawn coral (<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Euphyllia" class="extiw" title="w:Euphyllia">Euphyllia</a> spp.), green due to its <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Symbiodinium" class="extiw" title="w:Symbiodinium">symbiotic algae</a>, is prominent at left, with poisonous fire coral (<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Millepora" class="extiw" title="w:Millepora">Millepora</a> spp.) behind it. Noncolonial plate corals (<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fungia" class="extiw" title="w:Fungia">Fungia</a> spp.) are scattered across the bottom.
