Summary
Carrara (Italy) and its marble quarries, seen from a easyJet Airbus A319 flying at 35000 feet between Bristol (England) and Rome. Carrara is the town nearest to the white mountains. The white on the mountains is the quarries, it's not snow! Sorry about the rubbish quality (thanks to a dirty aircraft window, a very hazy day, and the ground was 7 miles below me) but I think the picture is worth having on Wikipedia.
