My impression is that this photo could be showing chemical (or biological?) dissolution of the limestone pedicle or rock that occurred when a thicker layer of sediment was present here. - <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Marshman" class="extiw" title="en:User:Marshman">Marshman</a> 00:36, 3 February 2006 (UTC)
