Summary

Monument "De Naald" (The Needle) at the corner of the Loolaan/ Zwolseweg. Placed in 1901 in honour of king William III and queen Emma and the newlyweds princess Wilhemina and prince Hendrik. It was a design of Gerrit de Zeeuw with a relief of Pieter Puype. The photo was taken ± after the incident that happened on Queensday.
