Summary

The Holy Thorn Reliquary is an early 15th century reliquary created in Paris for John, Duke of Berry to house a relic of the Crown of Thorns. Since 1898, it has been in the British Museum's collection, having been bequeathed by Ferdinand de Rothschild.
