Summary

The picture shows a sharp <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hysteresis" class="extiw" title="en:Hysteresis">hysteresis</a> curve, that is quite common for Electronic circuits (such as <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schmitt_trigger" class="extiw" title="en:Schmitt trigger">Schmitt trigger</a>). I used generic symbols so that the picture can be used for different applications. The T stands for threshold and M stands for maximum.
