Summary
De voetring wordt gebruikt om mensen in het dorp gevangen te zetten. Meestal worden dit type voetringen gebruikt om ze een nacht vast te houden. De gevangene kon hiermee alleen schuifelend vooruitkomen. Indien de banden eenmaal om de voeten waren bevestigd kon slechts de smid ze weer losmaken.
