Summary

ISS031-E-078299 (29 May 2012) --- Expedition 31 crew members pose for an in-flight crew portrait inside the SpaceX Dragon cargo craft currently attached to the International Space Station. Pictured clockwise (from the left) are Russian cosmonauts Gennady Padalka and Sergei Revin, European Space Agency astronaut Andre Kuipers, all flight engineers; Russian cosmonaut Oleg Kononenko, commander; NASA astronauts Don Pettit and Joe Acaba, both flight engineers. The SpaceX Falcon 9 and its Dragon spacecraft launched at 3:44 a.m. (EDT) on May 22. This mission is a demonstration flight by Space Exploration Technologies, or SpaceX, as part of its contract with NASA to have private companies launch cargo safely to the International Space Station.
