This set of images was gathered by <a href="//commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Dcoetzee" title="User:Dcoetzee">User:Dcoetzee</a> from the National Portrait Gallery, London website using a special tool. All images in this batch have been confirmed as author died before 1939 according to the official death date listed by the NPG. Currently on display in John Wesley's House, City Road, London. Said to be the only painting John Wesley ever approved as it is more of a true likeness. The painting was commissioned by James Milbourne, a friend of Wesley who is buried in Wesley's Chapel graveyard.
