Summary
Mandalay Hill from <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mingun" class="extiw" title="en:Mingun">Mingun</a> across the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ayeyarwady_River" class="extiw" title="en:Ayeyarwady River">Irrawaddy</a> "when the water is small". Note the vast seasonal island in the river leaving a narrow channel in winter. These fertile islands are a frequent cause for dispute among the neighbouring villages over which one of them has the right to grow crops on.
