Summary

Side of a <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/London_Underground_1992_Stock" class="extiw" title="w:London Underground 1992 Stock">London Underground 1992 Stock</a> train on the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/en:Waterloo_%26_City_Line" class="extiw" title="w:en:Waterloo & City Line">Waterloo & City Line</a>, shortly before the six-month closure of the line in April 2006. After ownership of the line passed from <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Rail" class="extiw" title="w:British Rail">British Rail</a> to the <a href="//commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/London_Underground" title="London Underground">London Underground</a> in 1994, some trains had a LU logo placed over the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Network_SouthEast" class="extiw" title="w:Network SouthEast">Network SouthEast</a> logo - but others, as seen here, still had their original NSE logos until the trains were repainted and refurbished during the 2006 closure.
